Hey, why don't you put up some of Richard's pix.

OK...since you asked so nicely, here are a few recent pix. 1) The latest baptism. 2) Florida is surrounded on three sides by water, right? 3) Group massage....just the ticket after a tough day of missionary work.

....and loving it!

Richard is really enjoying his mission.....here is his latest letter.

Hey Family! What's happening!? Ahh I love being a missionary. I've never had so much peace in my life. Sure there are trials and frustrations, but only when I depend on myself. There's someone who does a much better job than I can.
We've had a week of miracles. Check this, it started so slowly! It was a rough start to the week and it seemed as though we had nothing in the first five hours of the day. It went on like that for a few days, contacting, knocking doors to no avail. Come Thursday planning session, we knew that something needed to change. We did our best to make a plan, goals, and pray for success. We started working a little harder (sometimes you get so beat physically and mentally! But the spirit's always pushing...) and immediately we found success. Let me tell you about Irene. We were going to contact a media referral when from the front of the apartment complex we heard, "what church are you guys from?" We turned to see a woman in a wheel chair, probably in her 40's. We answered, "the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." She replied, "the mormons?" We said "yes." "Good, follow me." We followed (I pushed!) her to her apartment and then taught her a first on her porch. She knew the church through a friend and had been looking for a church to join. She said that ours sounded very good from what she had heard. We taught her how do identify the spirit, and during the lesson she said she felt a "light." After the lesson she was so anxious to get he hands on the BOM, we ran back to the car (literally) and found one in English. She said she was going to read it right away while she was eating dinner. (she was also a pretty bright person, speaks 4 languages and was well versed in the Bible. We chatted a bit in Spanish and she told us she prefers English. So we passed her on. We also had 3 great investigators in church!
Just last Saturday we had a lesson with Dagoberto in the chapel (sweet fruit of the Pamphlet pass-out extravaganza 2007) and we extended him a bapt. date of which he accepted for the 30th! How sweet is that? He's been attacked (in a great way!) by the members and is fellowshipped to the max. Our recent convert had to go a little out of town during church, but was so faithful that he attended a meeting in Hialeah! Ahh it's so great here! The strongest members and best converts. Hno. Rueda who was just baptized is getting the priesthood soon and is set on serving the ward and being an example to his family. He has two sons, one is reactivating (came yesterday!) and the other will hopefully come soon. His wife is stronger each day. I love you all, hey, check out this dream I had lastnight...
There was a man flying a commercial jet when on the radio he heard the distortion of a message that Christ had come and that the world was in the process of destruction. This man, not having lived the best life, thought that if he could fly high enough above the surface, he might be able to avoid his destruction as a sinner in the fiery glory of our Savior. But then a small thought came to his mind (I had omniscience in this dream) that if it was the end and if he had to go, he wanted it to be by the sight of Christ. He descended and at that moment and decision he had a change of heart and was not destroyed. Crazy dream huh? I woke up and told my comp. in his delirous state! Well I learned something! I love you all, I'm going to send some sweet pics of a latin band we met in a 3rd world trailer park. Enjoy! until next week...Love you!
love, Richard
