Random thoughts

Here are some excerpts from recent emails from Richard with no particular theme, but what I think are insightful:

I love Sacrament meeting! It's the best, the sacrament has come to mean something special during these few months I've spent out here. It's among the most sacred of ordinances we have. To think that it's one of the few that Christ specifically lays out in the New Testament.

I heard a testimony of a leaving missionary last week at zone conf., he talked about how he and his greenie saw two young men in their complex and turned to his comp and said, "If they only knew. (then elaborated) if they only knew what authority they were lacking they'd feel pretty foolish." Made me think, then he made a comment about Moses and how after having received his great vision where he saw the world in it's entirety he said to this effect, "Man is nothing, thing which I have never supposed."

I've definitely gained a testimony of finding those who are ready, and for those who are it is a smooth and easy process to baptism. (for the most part) I don't mean to say that it's an easy process, just that it has very little to do with us. We just need to "Invite others to come unto Christ by helping them to receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His atonement; repentence, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and Enduring to the end." Pretty sweet huh?
